The main principle of this system is intelligent body temperature regulation. The most famous version uses a silver thermo-reflective pattern on the inside of the garment to reflect the wearer's own heat back to the body, while the breathable structure of the material allows excess moisture and heat to escape. The Omni-Heat™ family includes varying degrees of protection - from lightweight reflective linings to advanced synthetic insulation that mimics down feathers in its properties. The result is clothing that is lightweight, great packable and provides maximum thermal comfort without bulk. / Omni-Tech® Omni-Tech®A multi-layered protective system that provides excellent waterproofing and breathability. This technology works on the principle of a microporous membrane that is impermeable to water from the outside (rain, snow), but allows body moisture and heat to escape from the inside to the outside. In addition, all products with this technology have fully or critically sealed seams and a DWR top water repellent treatment, ensuring you stay dry even when you're out in the elements for extended periods of time. Omni-Tech® is ideal for hikers and skiers who require reliable protection from wind and rain without the risk of overheating during physical exertion.
